Accessibility
The buildings at New River Head have lain unused since the 1950s and the condition of the site reflects this.
Please be aware that this site currently has:
- cobbled paving leading up to the buildings
- dust, steps and uneven ground inside the buildings
- no lift access to upper level floors
- limited places to rest
- no toilets
Most of the tour will be spent moving around the site.
We recommend:
- wearing sturdy shoes
- dressing for the weather
- wearing a face mask in dusty inside spaces
