Pocket London: WoolwichRegular price £7.50
This is an architectural walking tour of Woolwich exploring its history as a staunchly independent enclave within London, and exploring the borough's municipal architecture central to that identity.
This paper self-guided tour led by Rosamund Lily West features engaging text and images which can be enjoyed equally in the field or in the comfort of your home. Highlights include Norman & Dawbarn's Frances Street Towers and the Market Street Health Centre, designed by H W Tee as an aesthetically different but similarly ambitious contemporary of the Finsbury Health Centre.
The guide is part of a series of Pocket London tours exploring our city’s most compelling architecture. Published once a month, Pocket London is available as a subscription or via our shop.
