One of the finest municipal emblems ever to grace London's local authority literature was the former logo of the borough of Haringey. Now no longer used, Haringey's original lightning bolt design represented the transmissions of Alexandra Palace television station, from which the first regular TV broadcasts in Britain began in 1936.
Open City is dedicated to opening up and celebrating the best of London's design heritage whether in architecture or graphics, so we have created 100 limited-edition T-shirts featuring the historic Haringey logo in a silk-printed two-tone yellow on black.
Please note these T-shirts are on the small for the stated sizes. We would recommend ordering a size up from your usual choice if you prefer a looser fit.
100% Organic ring-spun combed cotton
1x1 rib at neck collar
Inside back neck tape in self fabric

The T-shirts are screen printed in London using non-harmful inks. The T-shirt base is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton by Stanley/Stella, who are accredited by the Fair Wear Foundation, working to improve conditions for workers in garment factories.
